Sasha Festival 2017 - Thank you.

I was probably/possibly one of the first to book for the Sasha Festival that was held this year, it is the highlight of my year.  So you can imagine how devastated I felt when I had to cancel not long before the festival due to terrible pain issues that have got worse since April and are currently still under investigation.  Thanks to the joys of the internet, I enjoyed watching and reading the posts about the Sasha Festival, but couldn't help feeling sad that Henry and I were missing it.  So I was delighted to receive a little package in the post last week.

Henry proudly shows the package.

Inside the box was the Sasha Festival booklet, a pattern, and some cut outs, plus a sweet little outfit that baby Amelia has claimed.

It is such a sweet little outfit.  This lovely outfit was made by the talented Karen W, and I am thrilled to have it!

Amelia is especially taken with the little toy that came with it.

To all who took the time to sign the card, a very big thank you.  It was very special to receive this and to know we were missed as much as we missed all of you.

  1. What a thoughtful thing to to do! The Sasha community is such a great group of people. That outfit is truly adorable (and I'm not even much of a baby person)!

    1. A very thoughtful thing to do indeed, and I am so thrilled with the package. The outfit is so cute, and as my babies don't tend to get much in the way of clothes, it was very well received.

  3. Karen made your little outfit, Lorraine. She made them as her table favors for the Sunday brunch, and there were some extras that she made as test samples for the pattern she designed and included as a souvenir.

    1. It was very sad missing the festival, I have gone to everyone since my first back in 2012, so it was a bit hard. Thank you for your well wishes, I am still waiting for further appointments!
