Dolls Gone Goth Wedding Dress Challenge

Another month, another Goth Doll Challenge, this time to make a wedding dress.

Using some tulle, lace/netting and pattern I found at a charity shop last month and some blue fabric I already had I set forth.

I decided to base the dress on this pattern.

This is what I came up with, modeled by Grandma Barbie.

I put netting over the skirt and added lace to the hem of the skirt.

Two 'bustles' at the back, one with the blue lace and one with the black netting.

I made her 'bouquet' with ribbon, netting and lace.

She looks rather pleased with the dress.

This was a fun challenge to take part in.  

 

Wanderings with Wren

Wren has enjoyed some wanderings this week.

The first to Brighstone Forest where she enjoyed walking along logs

She has good balance.

Hiking up hills

and deciding which way to go next.

She also spotted some pretty heather growing in the woods.

The following day the sun was brighter so she went into Ventnor

To her favourite cafe.

after lunch she decided to have some cake.

It was a little sweet for her taste buds so she will try something different next time.
