Henry's Will

Emily comes across Henry sitting at the table writing studiously.

What are you writing Henry?  She asks.

Henry looks up. My last will and testament.

What on earth for Henry?  Asks Emily stunned by his response.

Well I'm going away for major head surgery on Wednesday.  He tells her...

Emily rushes off to find Peggy Sue and Rory.

Do you know what Henry is doing?  She asks them.

What?  Rory asks.

He is writing his last will and testament.  Emily replies.

What?? Cries Peggy Sue aghast!

But we can't have that!  Peggy Sues says.

I know. Replies Emily. What shall we do about it?

Talk to him.  Rory suggests.

Yes, good idea.  I think we are going to have to take him in hand.  Emily tells them.

Now Henry, what's this I hear about you writing your Will.  Peggy Sue asks gently.

Well I am going to have to aren't I?  Replies Henry.  I'm going in for major major surgery on my head.  What if I am never the same again.

What do you mean major surgery?  Rory asks.

I'm having NEW HAIR.  Henry tells him.

Oh that isn't surgery!  Rory exclaims.  I've had that done.  Look at me, I'm okay!

Peggy Sue looks at Rory...

Yes Rory.  Henry replies, but you didn't have to have major major surgery to have new hair now did you?

Um... I guess not.  Rory agrees.

Oh Henry, you will always be our Dear Henry.  Emily reassures him.

Look, I'm going to have to have big sharp needles poked into my head hundreds  perhaps THOUSANDS of times!

Ouch! They all think as they look at Henry's head.

I mean, just look at the state of my head, and this is only the back.  The sides are just as bad.

His friends do think he has a has got to desperate measures.

I'm sure it won't be that bad.  Emily reassures him.

I had to go into surgery last year....or was it this year?  and have surgery on my arms!

Still not quite the same Henry thinks as he looks at Emily.  At least no one was sticking needles into your head!

The children do their best to reassure him, that all WILL be well.

Emily gives him a big hug.

Emily gives him a hug and whispers something into his ear, while Rory gives him a pat on the shoulder.

Poor Henry is very anxious...but I am sure he will love getting back to his adventures again in the future.

Christmas Sewing & Knitting

I managed to find my inspiration and did some Christmas sewing.  Fortunately I didn't need to do any for the Sasha dolls this year as they already had all their Christmas dresses. Instead I focused mainly on my Sindy dolls.  I used to mainly sew for this size dolls (mainly Tressy, but Sindy too) before I discovered the Sasha dolls, so it has been fun 'rediscovering' them again.

I made three of my girls long sleeve Christmas dresses.

I then made some sleeveless Christmas dresses.

Some were for gifts for friends, and I also knitted a matching cardigan and added a little knitted sack and a Christmas stocking I made.

Dress two, and the little accessories I made.

An example of what the little cardigans looked like.

Dress three.

I didn't knit this dress, but have had it a while and thought it was lovely, but don't have a doll it fits, so sent it as a gift to a friend who has larger baby dolls.

A couple of Christmas stockings also sent as gifts.

I also made up another gift pack with

This dress

...a little knitted sack and the following stocking.

Another friend I sent this little Nancy Ann Story book doll as she has always admired my little Nancy.

I made her a little Christmas dress to wear.

I made a couple of Christmas dresses to put on Ebay and in my Etsy shop.

I made another long sleeve Christmas dress.

Love this gingerbread dress...

I added a little cardigan to go with the dress.

Oh and then another couple of dresses...I was on a roll!

Just love this dress and this girl, she is so glamorous,

She joined another on my desk.

Plus a little dress for Gigi.

Various small dresses were made for this group of dolls, that then moved to the hallway dresser...

I made a little Christmas patchwork quilt and some bedding for this little pram that was kindly given to me.

Sindy was pleased to be able to get out with one of the little ones to get a bit of fresh air.

I made four little cushions for the Sindy's lounge suite and they were very pleased with them.

Oh and I also made a waistcoat for Action Girl, but I haven't taken a photo of that.

I'm sure I have probably missed something!
