A Doll a Day in April: Day 19 - Nisha A Girl for All Time

Today's doll is Nisha, who is a Girl for All Time doll.

She is so pretty.

She is wearing a dress I knitted a few years ago, teamed with Sasha doll shoes.

Oh, no Sasha joining us today?  Seems not, instead Nisha is going to open the calendar

She is a very pretty girl.

She looks carefully for door number seventeen.

It doesn't take her too long to spot it.

She opens it up and reaches in.

A Pyjama Party!

 On November 5th some of the Rose Cottage Friends had a pyjama party.  Here are a few photos as they gathered ready for the party to begin.

Unboxing Margo

Well, I have another box opening!  Yup, that is right, the ol' slippery finger struck again... although I did do a little research first.  😊  In fact there will be at least another couple of box openings over the next week... I think the February blues have struck!  Especially as normally at this time of year I would be in New Zealand now visiting my parents.  It was hard enough missing last year, but now it is two years since I saw them both, and not knowing whether I will ever see them again has been really really hard. 

So without further ado....

Isn't she beautiful?!  She came in this sweet little original outfit.

Such a pretty face.  I was in such a rush to take a photo I forgot to straighten out her jacket and hair!

She came with an extra set of clothes which are super cute.

Just love this picture of her.  She is so photogenic.

Her limbs move in a similar way to Sasha, so her arms and legs can be adjusted not only backwards and forwards, but outwards and inwards as well (hopefully that makes sense!)  Her head can also tilt in different directions.  Just love this outfit.

I think it is perfect for this time of year.

She stands at about 18 inches I think, so taller than Everlee Rose (Sasha Doll)  and Nisha (Girl for All Time Doll).

I have called her Margo (her previous name was Luna, which I might keep as a 'middle' name)  She is a Yella Schildkrot Doll by Sieglinde Frieske.  I had never seen or heard of these dolls before and found her quite by accident.  I am so pleased with her.  I haven't felt quite this way about a new doll for a very long time.  

Nisha dresses for Christmas

My one and only Girl for All Time, Nisha in her Christmas outfit.  I have had her over four years now which surprised me.  I didn't realise it was that long.

 

New Year's Eve Pyjama Party

How better to spend New Year's Eve than with friends.

A fairly simple event this year, they have already gobbled up all the food and are chatting before settling down to watch a movie.

Someone has fallen asleep already!  Dorothy is resting up on Chrissy's lap.

Meet the 'Spencer' Girls & their Friends

Christina Spencer, otherwise known as Chrissy, and her little sister Noelle.

Chrissy has two best friends, Sunita and Tara and they like to do quite a few things together.

Noelle's two best friends are Clara and Kimmi.

Like all little girls they get up to a lot of mischief together, and spend a lot of time giggling.

Clara has an older sister.

Her name is Sienna Saige.

Clara is hoping Sienna will meet her friend's older sister Chrissy and her friends, as Sienna goes to a different school to the other girls and often feels a little lonely outside of school time.

Kimmi also has an older sister.

Kimmi's older sister is Nisha


Chrissy, Noelle, Kimmi and Clara model my clothing that I make that isn't for Sasha dolls, this can keep them busy although sometimes they get a bit miffed that they often don't get to keep the clothes they model!
