Creative Week 24

My List for this week was:

Autumnal knit dress for Hazel  -  þ

An Autumnal dress for Madeline -  þ

I want to work on my TRD Journal, as this is way behind. -   þ

Knit a pink top for one of the TRDs. -  þ

Knit something for the Sasha/Gregor/Schoenhut dolls, if so inspired. -  þ

I will try and stick to this list to start with, and then once I have achieved this, might deviate... we will see!

The little pink top for Fuchsia Fairweather was knitted.

Madeline got her new Autumnal dress.

Hazel got hers.

I knitted a cardigan and cap to fit Schoenut/Gregor boys.  Lewis as always makes a fabulous model.

I think I might make some blue socks with red stripes to go with this little set.

Peggy Sue got a 'LBD'.  I am going to make a few accessories this coming week to make it more 'Halloweenish'.

Clipper got a bed cover and pillow

Hitty Madge made up her Recipe Card box she received in the Recipe Card Swap she took part in.

A little book was made

Miss Edie Brooks got a 'LBD'.

An apron for Hitty Madge which she needed after we had made up the Recipe Card Box.

A wonderful selection of recipes now.

A little book

I made Clipper a new skirt to go with her her 'Mix n Match' wardrobe.

I have also managed to do quite a few pages in my Tiny Rag Doll Journal, so almost up to date now.

Lewis and Peggy Sue worked hard collating the worksheets

They put them into subject order

They started sorting out the magazines.

Plenty of space magazines.

Folders and magazine holders were made.

Each student will have their own folder.

Folders and Magazines stored nicely in the holders ready for use.

Creative 2018

Sasha, Emily and Sophia got changed out of their Christmas dresses today and wanted to show what they chose to wear - actually they didn't have a lot of choice as it was too wet to go down to the studio to get the majority of their clothes, so they had to make do with what was available!

One of the things I want to do this year is make more things.  I did a LOT of knitting last year, and a little sewing (not as much as I would normally do) and not a lot else.  As I am still not allowed to knit, I need to find other creative outlets.   One of the projects I have had in mind is to further develop the 'Schoenhut School of the Arts', starting with a science room.

Armed with the laminating machine and some printouts...

I fired it up and got it running...

...and made a start.

Lewis is quite excited about the prospect of a science lab.

We have been sorting through his trunk of clothing and accessories today, which will be the topic of another post and ongoing project, so he was pleased for some respite to help with something a bit more exciting.

Crafting Fun.

Henry, Lewis and Peggy Sue had fun with crafting yesterday afternoon.  Well Peggy Sue played with her new little dolls while Henry and Lewis made some crafts!

They were rather proud with their results.

Lewis and Henry proudly show off the puppet and train..

Peggy Sue admires their work.

Ollie is very pleased with his little duck and had fun pushing it around.

Can we make some more puppets please?  Lewis asks.
