Advent 2023 - Day Twenty Two

Serena has asked Helen to help her today

They look for the door

and quickly have the gift out ready to open.

Oh what are these?

The look like little toys for the sack.

Sure enough that is where the girls have put them.

Father Christmas is all ready to deliver the gifts.

These two are quite the characters.

Helen was my bargain find in a charity shop in NZ in 2019.

She is quite sassy.

 

Advent 2023 - Day Sixteen

 

Sophia wanted her little friend Nancy to open the window today.

Sophia is so pretty

Nancy is such a little cutie.

They look for the window

and before you know it, it is opened and the gift taken out.

Oh, that looks exciting!

Sophia helps Nancy put the little snowman together.

He looks very cute, and even has a shovel for the snow.

I think Nancy will go and put him on the little scene now.

He looks quite at home there.

How cute indeed.

Nancy isn't much bigger than him!

Thank you Sophia and Nancy for opening today's door.

 

Advent 2023 - Day Four

 

The beautiful Sophia is opening the calendar today and she shows off her pretty dress.

She looks for the number four

and opens it up and reaches in.

I wonder what will be inside.

Now what is this?

Oh that looks like it might be a mixer!

She starts to put it together.

Yes it is a mixer!

Perfect for the little bakery.

She puts it on the little scene.

The baker looks like she is pleased with it.

Sophia takes one last look before she joins the other girls. 

Getting Ready for Valentine's Day.

Clara and Peggy Sue are excited about Valentine's Day and wonder if they will be lucky enough to get some Valentine Cards.  They have both changed into pretty pink dresses.  They are planning to make some cards themselves and some decorations.

They wanted a photo of them both standing to attention...haha

They are joined by Clementine who is wearing a dress and cardigan that Peggy Sue has let her borrow.

Such a pretty girl too.

Getting Festive

 The Rose Cottage Friends are starting to feel a little festive...

Lindsey has donned a pretty knitted Christmas dress

She is joined by Everlee Rose and Sophia who are admiring some of the toys.

This shelf will gradually evolve over the next few weeks.

Peggy Sue has put on one of her favourite dresses of the season.

Hazel wants to start decorating her little tree.

Martha, Eva and Nancy have changed into Christmas clothes.

(This so called 'New UN-improved layout, means that the photos load on the opposite order to how you want them...took me several goes to get them in the right order...now I know that they load back to front it should make it a little easier....BUT WHY do they do this??)
