A Doll a Day in April: Day 11 - Nancy Ann

Today it is the turn of Nancy to be doll of the day.

She changed into this pretty little Easter dress.

A few of the smaller girls have dressed up for Valentines Day

We have: Hitty Madge, Kiwi Sindy, Little Miss, Was Willow, but now waiting on a name change, Lili, Wren, Now Willow, Nancy and Nancy Ann Storybook who is either called, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, or Queen of Hearts. Personally I think she should be called 'Love Letters'. 

All the dolls are wearing dresses made by me, except, Nancy, and 'Love Letters'

 

Advent 2021 - Day Five: Hazel's Turn

Hazel had been waiting patiently and today she gets to open a window.

Wren helps her look for the number five.

She reaches up to open it.

I wonder what she will find inside?

It is Joseph!

How lovely Hazel found Joseph behind the little door.

The Nativity scene is starting to come together nicely.

 

Advent 2021 - Day Four: Madeline Rose's turn.

Today it is Madeline Rose's turn to open the window of the Advent Calendar

Wren helps her find the number four...

Rose Resilient helps her reach the window.

Madeline opens it.

Reaches inside.

It's a little fence!

How cute is this?

Go and put it by the sheep Madeline.  Rose tells her.

They put the little fence down.

This nativity scene is coming along nicely.

 

Advent 2021 - Day Two

Wren and Nancy have been joined by Rose and Hazel for the second day of the Advent Calendar opening.

It is your turn today Nancy.  Wren tells her.

Wren lifts up Nancy so she can reach.

Nancy opens the little window.

A sheep!  Wren is thrilled that they have a sheep.

Nancy thinks the sheep is pretty cool too.

She puts the sheep with Mary.

What a lovely start.

 

Advent 2021 - Day One

Wren and Nancy are delighted to be the first to open this Nativity Scene Playmobil Advent Calendar

There isn't a scene with this one, normally there is, but there is just the box with the windows.

They opened the first door and found Mary!

What a great start to the advent.

What best to do on a blustery afternoon?

On this blustery, and definitely colder afternoon, Wren chooses some music to listen to.

She selects some of her favourite music and...

Sits back with her fit up to relax.

Elsewhere, some of the Friends are getting changed into Autumn wear.

My (still no name) Iplehouse BJD has chosen jeans and a sweater.

Miss No Name Not Supposed to be a Fakey Blythe has a similar colour top on teamed with a straight skirt and boots.

Helen Blythe very much likes the outfit she has chosen, especially as it has long sleeves.

Kiwi Sindy looking swish as teamed her outfit with some stylish boots.

Little Nancy is wearing the lovely dress gifted to her by Bella's Doll Clothes earlier this year and has teamed it with a little cardigan I knitted a few years ago.

The Five Friends all ready for the cooler days and nicely colour co-ordinated.
