We enjoyed another visit to the Bluebell Woods at Ashridge Estate yesterday...
Madeline thought this was the perfect place to stand to show off the bluebells behind her.
She is wearing a newly knitted dress and her boots.
She was joined by a couple of friends, Hitty Madge and Miss Hilda Bonnet
You can't help but smile when surrounded by such wondrous beauty
and gorgeous scent
There were lots of opportunities to just sit and enjoy
which of course Madeline made the most of.
Sitting in a mossy nook.
What a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
Madeline is so lucky to be able to get out and visit the bluebell woods. It's so beautiful and even more so with her friends to enjoy it with. I have clumps of bluebells in the garden and I split them every year and the few I had are now a lot LOL. I think Ezri needs to venture outdoors ( I have never actually taken Ezri outside except on the decking ) x
ReplyDeleteAren't the woods just a delight and of course days like this are always best when shared with friends. Oh yes you must take Ezri outside...these dolls love exploring!
DeleteWhat a lovely spring outing for the three girls. The bluebells are so pretty and rather inspiring. How wonderful to be surrounded by all that colour!
ReplyDeleteWonderful indeed, I will never tire of this place.
DeleteWhat an amazing sight! Thank you for sharing these lovely pictures. It looks like the girls really enjoyed their outing.

So glad you enjoyed the pictures. We all enjoyed our outing very much.
DeleteWhat a magical place. We only have scillae in our woods, no bluebells. The girls were very lucky they could be there.
ReplyDeleteMadeline is wearing just another pair of cool boots!
Very magical! Yes Madeline has three pairs of boots now - one from the CS girl and two new pairs. I have a feeling this could be a slippery slop, although we have resisted so far...
DeleteSuch an amazing carpet of blue and three little friends enjoying it together. I think boots are the right footwear for the woods, it looks like Madeline is getting lucky with finding shoes.
ReplyDeleteWhat a truly beautiful setting for these photos.
