Gregor - The Twins

James and Connor are of course Identical Twins, and as such always wear the same clothes, but usually have different coloured buttons which they insist on so that people can tell them apart....

No one has told them that the different colour buttons aren't strictly necessary of course...

and anyway they wouldn't believe them because of course they are identical!

Advent 2017 - Day Twenty Four: Christmas Eve.

I think you should open the Calendar today Peggy Sue.  Henry tells her.

Oh are you sure?  Peggy Sue asks.

Absolutely.  Henry replies.

Peggy Sue looks for the final door.

It is in this top corner. She says.

Peggy Sue opens the door.

Goodness, I wonder what this is?  Peggy Sue says.

Oh open it please Peggy Sue.  I can't stand the suspense!  Henry tells her.

Oh my goodness!  Peggy Sue gasps.

Look, it is a ghost pirate!

I think he must go down here.  Peggy Sue says as she puts him on the rocks in front of the cave.

The scene is complete!  The pirate actually glows....IF we had known we needed to triple A batteries.  So we will have to show that after Christmas now!

The gang wish you a very Merry Christmas!

Advent 2017 - Day Twenty Two

So Connor, I am guessing you are going to open the door today?  Gwilym asks.

Yes, I am indeed.  Connor replies.

Connor looks for door number twenty two, while James and Gwilym look on.

Aha!  Here it is.  Says Connor as he opens the door.

He reaches in...

and pulls out the package.

Looks like treasure to me.  He tells James.

Yes treasure!

Gosh jewels AND coins.  Gwilym says as the boys look at what Conor is holding.

Right, they can go down here...

Connor puts the coins and jewels down on the little scene.

What a busy island it is.  Connor says as the boys look at it.

It is certainly busy!

Advent 2017 - Day Twenty One

I am going to open the Advent Calendar today.  Says James in a very authoritative voice.

Sure of course you can.  Connor says.

Donny doesn't dare argue with the twins, so is just happy to watch.

Hmmm....now where is it?  James says.

Aha, here it is up here.  He reaches up and opens the door.

It looks like he will need two hands for today's gift.

A treasure chest!  He shows the boys.

Looks better now the lid is on it.  Donny remarks.

James and Connor agree with him.

It can go down here.  He says as he puts it down.

Uh oh, looks like the snake has made itself a new home!

Advent 2017 - Day Eleven

Lewis wants to have a go at opening the Advent Calendar today and James and Connor thought that would be fine.  Lewis tells them it is the first time he has got to open one so is very excited.  They explain that he has to find the door number eleven.

Lewis looks carefully until he finds it.

Kneels down on the floor to open it with the boys watching on eagerly to find out what is in store for today.

Look a package!  He shows Connor and James.

You can open it now.  They tell him.

It is a little bucket of water and a drinking flask.  He tells them.

That is good,  says Connor.  He will need that in case he gets thirsty

Lewis gives the pirate the drinking flask and puts the bucket down on the scene.

Where is that pesky seagull?

Advent 2017 - Day Seven

Connor and James were on the ball again this morning, up bright and early before the other lads.

It is James' turn to open the door today and it didn't take him long to find number seven.

He opens it up.

Reaches inside

Oh!  he said...it is running away from me!

Which of course intrigues Connor.

Look!  James says as he holds out his hand for Connor to have a look.

Oh my, a seagull!  Connor says.

James can't quite believe his eyes.

I pop him down here and then he can decide where he wants to go. Says James as he reaches down.

He wonders if the seagull will hope off his hand.

Fortunately he does.

He is a little quiet after being shut up in the calendar.

I am sure he will be alright soon.  Connor tells James.

The boys settle down to play for a while.
