Peggy Sue sets Lewis Straight.

Peggy Sue is a bit unsure about having a brother as he has been getting quite a bit of attention lately and also had lots of things made for him, and she says it has been simply AGES since she had anything made for her!

Plus it seems he needs a few things explaining to him.  She heard about his 'fishing' from the other lads...of course the story spread and was embellished somewhat of just how many fish were caught and of course just how BIG they were.

What do you think you are doing Lewis? Peggy Sue asks when she catches him by the pond with his fishing rod on his back.

I'm going fishing again.  He tells her.  I caught three big whoppers last time!

Oh no you are not!  Peggy Sue informs him.  You are not allowed to fish here. It says it quite clearly....NO FISHING

That sign wasn't there last time.  Lewis thinks to himself.

So where am I going to go fishing?  He asks as they wander off together.

Well not here.  Peggy Sue replies..

Doesn't seem very fair.  Lewis thinks to himself...

Lewis has a lot to learn!

  1. Peggy Sue is now the game warden, I see. Poor Lewis, he doesn't stand a chance if she is on guard! I suggest that Lewis move on to more likely territory.

  2. I see you're an early riser like me LOL Poor Lewis. My husband likes to fish and there are only 2 places around here where there is fishing ( one about 20 mins drive and the other about 45 mins drive away ) He doesn't go much as it also costs £10 and £7 respectively. I hope Lewis soon finds a nice quiet place to fish :) x

    1. I don't think Lewis is going to find many fishing spots round here either.... I am sure he will find something else to do.

  3. Peggy Sue really is the Queen Bee of Rose Cottage. Perhaps Lewis would do well to offer her some 'honey' in the form of flowers or a card. Sadly, little boys can be a bit clueless when it comes to these matters.

    1. She is indeed, and yes little boys can certainly be a bit clueless! Even big boys can be for that matter ;-)

  4. Lewis won't want to waste his fishing gear, he is sure to want to find a way to fish so I expect the 'game warden of Rose cottage' is going to be on the alert.

    1. I am quite sure Lewis is going to find some way to fish, even if he has to be up extra early to do so"
