I'd like to say garage or basement, but the garage is too full, and we don't have a basement so he has to practice in his room! Yes it can get rather noisy at times. ;-)
My boys have been wanting a set of drums for the longest time, or so it seems to them...you should have heard the racket today as others sneaked in to play on them.
Yes I will have to make a t shirt for him - he will have to wait a while for it though!
What a great find! And it will add depth to the Rose Hip Chicks' performance to have a drummer. (I know that for sure - my daughter's boyfriend plays drums in a metal band.)
What a wonderful find! I wish our charity shops regularly yielded the sorts of treasures UK charity shops seem to have. And I have been intending to say that I really enjoy the stories of Peggy Sue and her very realistic girl's bedroom - I raised two girls, and the stories and settings certainly bring back memories!
It was a good find, but it is often very much hit and miss with the CS now. They used to be much better before they tried to turn them into 'High Street' shops. This particular one is still similar to how they used to be.
Ha ha...yes it could be rather noisy for the neighbours...but then they did disturb us almost every single day for over two years while they did building work so a bit of drum playing they can't moan about! ;-)
Hmmmm...very stylish, but where does he practice?

Very cool! The boys here are quite envious! Simon looks like a rock star. You'll need to make him a tee shirt with a mod target logo on it.

It was a great find! Certainly will, they are very pleased...we are starting to build up quite a collection of instruments now.

DeleteGlad you are enjoying the stories :-)
You really are the queen of serendipity!
ReplyDeleteIt was a good find!
DeleteHooray, so pleased you found some drums for Simon. Imagine a drumming session at the summer music festival with two sets of drums!
ReplyDeleteThat could be good...or noisy! I guess it depends on how much they practice in the meantime....
DeleteMagnifique la rock star! En revanche, je ne suis pas sure que j'aurais offert ce mélodieux instrument chez moi... mes voisins sont trop proches ;-)

DeleteA band isn't a band without a drummer and a set of drums.
ReplyDeleteQuite right too.
