Time for Bed.

Before she goes to bed....

Peggy Sue likes to read a few verses from her bible.

Little Owen likes to read too.

Tonight she is reading from Psalms.

I think Peggy Sue needs some slippers now the nights are getting colder!

A Lunch Date

Peggy Sue had an invitation to go to a friend's for lunch.

She spent ages trying to decide what to wear, but in the end she couldn't bear to change into any Autumnal or Winter clothing just yet so she opted for a blue cardigan to go with her summery dress.

The girls are seated at the table ready for their lunch.

Peggy Sue and Lucy were delighted to be able to enjoy each other's company.

This lunch looks delicious thought Peggy Sue, as she lays her napkin on her lap.

Lucy opted to put the napkin under her chin.

In another room Clara, Lewis and little Bethany were waiting patiently having had their lunch earlier.

Due to needing to change location of their table, Lewis helped move the furniture and the flowers.

Can we eat yet?  Lucy asks.

I think we can now.  Peggy Sue answers her.

Lucy doesn't look so sure and is concerned they might have to move the table again...but they didn't.

Little Bethany is playing with one of the Tiny Rag Dolls, that came out with them.

Hazel's Sailor Playsuit

Hazel is hopeful that she is taking part in a Bleuette Camp this month... she sat on the sewing table this morning with the pattern eagerly hopeful that I'd get something made for her...

She has her little friend Heather with her...

Fortunately the sewing mojo returned to get to work.

Here she is wearing it outside in the full sun - hence not the best photo to see the outfit.

Here she is inside.  I used an old man's shirt to make this.  Always good to use existing fabrics and recycle if possible.

A New Bear

A new bear has joined the Rose Cottage Friends Family.  I finished making him/her just over a week ago now I think it was.

No name as yet, I seem to find it much harder to name things than I used to.

Currently borrowing an outfit I knitted for Martha Elephant last year.  I quite like this though, so the bear may get to keep it, unless I find my knitting mojo and make him/her their own outfit.

Blue Monday

Blue Monday is brought to you by the delightful Clara my 16/301 Schoenhut.

She was out early hoping for a blue sky and she got one!

We have had the most delightful day.

I do think though she needs to swap her ribbon for a blue one, but she insisted on keeping the red one for now!

Sunday Summary

Well some of the news is that I started a new Sasha blog - a fresh approach which I am quite excited about.

I've re-vamped my old Etsy Shop and launched the opening this afternoon for the sale of my bears.  The shop 'Kiwi Wight Creations' has the first of my Kiwi Wight Bears listed.  It is still a work in progress.

I have listed my new Sasha summer dresses with little cardigans on my new Sasha blog 'Sasha Haven'   I also listed some Gregor clothing.

During the week I had a new arrival...

It took about a month to arrive, but I was expecting it to take a while.

Ooh I love unwrapping new packages.

A fox!

I've been wanting a Philomena Kloss Bear for a while, and in the end decided on a fox as that is something I am not likely to make myself

Howard welcomes him.

Meet Frank Fox.

His tail sticks out the back of his trousers.

I took him out exploring

He helped leave a painted rock.

My brown bear now has a name - Bramble Brown Bear.

I took a couple of new photos.

He helped me make some Gooseberry Jam.

Enjoyed a walk.

Best of all he is a really good cuddler!

Howard helped me leave a rock during the week, which was gone a couple of days later when I next walked that way.

Sasha Haven - A New Sasha Blog

After a lot of thinking the last few months during the Covid-19 Lockdown I have decided to start a new purely Sasha & Gregor blog (although Peggy Sue, as an honorary Sasha might sometimes appear as well as Rory and Henry's older brothers Hamish and Bobby).   I needed a fresh new start and am hoping this is just the motivation I need.  I will still continue this blog, but it will feature my eclectic interests in other dolls, bears etc...

You can find 'Sasha Haven' here: https://sashahaven.blogspot.com/ Please subscribe or follow to keep up to date with new posts.
