Advent 2021 - Day Five: Hazel's Turn

Hazel had been waiting patiently and today she gets to open a window.

Wren helps her look for the number five.

She reaches up to open it.

Advent 2021 - Day Four: Madeline Rose's turn.

Today it is Madeline Rose's turn to open the window of the Advent Calendar

Wren helps her find the number four...

Rose Resilient helps her reach the window.

Madeline opens it.

Reaches inside.

It's a little fence!

How cute is this?

Go and put it by the sheep Madeline.  Rose tells her.

They put the little fence down.

This nativity scene is coming along nicely.

 

Postcard Swap - Mia and Sindy Shiloh receive their cards from Wren.

Last month Wren went wandering around the Wildheart Sanctuary which can be seen here: Isle of Wight Wildheart Sanctuary  she picked up  a couple of fun postcards while there of some rescue lions and wrote out some postcards a few days later here: Wren writes some more postcards... well she is finally getting round to post a couple of lovely photos from each of her friends she sent the cards to.

Postcard Swap - Wren receives three cards!

Wren is delighted to show off not one, not two, but three postcards she has recently received!

The first is from her sweet friend Molly in the USA.  Molly is a 'true' American Girl doll, and Wren is very excited to be her pen pal. You can see Molly's photos on Instagram at mollyandmedolls

Next up is this fabulous home made Christmas themed postcard from her friend Sindy Shiloh in Leicestershire. (Her IG is here)

She loves that it includes all her friends.

Then there is wonderfully fun postcard from her friend Winsley (from Winsley's World on YouTube)

She loved learning about the Jolly Fisherman in Skegness.

Advent 2021 - Day Three

Kiwi Sindy joins Wren and friends to open up the Advent Calendar today.

Kiwi Sindy tells Wren that it is a bit high and she can't reach.

Wren is sure they can work something out.

Kiwi Sindy balances precariously on a chair...Rose looks on slightly bemused, wondering why they didn't ask her for help!

Kiwi Sindy manages to reach inside for the little gift.

She sits down on the chair, feeling ever so slightly shaken up after her harrowing balancing act.

I wonder what this is?

It's a feeding trough!  Wren kneels down in front of it to watch the little sheep see whether there is any food in the trough.

Very cute.

Kiwi Sindy is still taking it easy sitting down, and Rose is rather bemused that they didn't ask her for help.

Advent 2021 - Day Two

Wren and Nancy have been joined by Rose and Hazel for the second day of the Advent Calendar opening.

It is your turn today Nancy.  Wren tells her.

Wren lifts up Nancy so she can reach.

Nancy opens the little window.

A sheep!  Wren is thrilled that they have a sheep.

Nancy thinks the sheep is pretty cool too.

She puts the sheep with Mary.

What a lovely start.

Wren and Nancy are delighted to be the first to open this Nativity Scene Playmobil Advent Calendar

There isn't a scene with this one, normally there is, but there is just the box with the windows.

They opened the first door and found Mary!
