Sewing for March

 I have been doing a little sewing the last week of March, it is good to feel up to sewing again.

I made a couple of these dresses, one for myself, and one for a friend.

This dress I made for my grand daughter - I have a little brunette Les Cherie Corolle doll that I will be giving her for her birthday in June with a little wardrobe of clothes.

This I made for a friend, she likes hot air balloons.

This dress I made for another friend who sent me the fabric, oh gosh, a long time ago!

I made this little dress for Wren.

I made two Easter dresses, the one above for me and the one below for a friend.

I made this dress for my Barbie Bestie doll.

Lastly I made this little dress for my Not a Blythe Blythe.

Mothering Sunday - Mother's Day & A New Dress for Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue has been neglected, well not exactly neglected, but has not had a look in for ages, so time to remedy that, starting with a new dress.

I thought this sea horse fabric would be fun.  I made the wrong bodice than I had planned, but it still looks good on her.  A little cardigan will set it off nicely, so that may be next on my creating list.

She seems pretty happy with it as she poses in front of the daffodils.

She is so special, I do love this doll very much.

As we celebrate Mothering Sunday - Mother's Day here in the UK, I wonder how many Mother's Days she has seen over the years in the different families she has lived in.

 

A Little Get Together at the Seaside

Thursday morning we spent a couple of hours with some friends down at the beach.

The boys went riding on their Vespas

Nelson took the bike, but Tom prefers his skateboard

So off they go quite happily until....

Perhaps it is time to move on to someone else, and leave them to their discussions...

Henry came too, this must be one of the first outings he has done in a very long time.

I think he enjoyed himself...well at least until a little later...

Pretty Flowers in the Garden with Wren

 What a beautiful day for Wren to have a wander around the garden to look at the flowers.
