Orange Challenge 2019 - Day Six: Nomi

It's Nomi's turn today in Orange,

this little dress she found

It fitted her a treat

although she looks sad and pleading

it might have been because of the book she had been reading

Cheer up little Nomi,

It is not all bad

the sky is blue and the sun is shining, 

there really is no time to be sad.

Orange Challenge 2019 - Day Five: Polish Dolls

Three little dolls today!

Some little Polish Woodens, dressed in their orange dresses.  I think the one in the middle is chancing her luck a bit by claiming her outfit is orange, but the two either side of her are right on the mark!

Orange Challenge 2019 - Day Four: Suki

This is my Suki doll that I bought a couple of years ago I guess it was now.  She came with a blank face so you could paint your own.  I thought, okay I can give this a go.... how hard can it be?!  Hard!  But I quite like the effect, even though she does look perhaps a little apprehensive, or thoughtful?  

She is wearing a vintage orange jumpsuit that I just love!

Today Summer has found a lovely orange gingham dress to wear

With her pale complexion I find her harder to photograph than the other dolls.

Day Two features the sultry Ziva sporting her lovely Kiwiana dress I made earlier this year.  The flowers are NZ Kowhai flowers.

Orange Challenge 2019 - Day One: Alice

So for the month of June, I'm going to focus on the colour orange.  A colour I hadn't previously given a lot of thought to, but in recent years have started to like a lot more.  To kick start the challenge for Day One is the lovely Alice, looking especially nice today in this vintage Chrissy orange dress which looks great on her. 

She is out pushing her little doll in the pram.  

She is very attentive.

I think it makes her look rather feminine. 

This girl really has the most lovely expression and eyes.
