Yesterday Madeline was delighted to also get out to see the Bluebells. She had her new dress on which she thought would 'match' the colours well.
They were absolutely stunning, a bit earlier this year so we were glad we went.
Fortunately for Madeline she doesn't feel the cold...it was freezing! Probably between 5 and 8 degrees Celsius!
She took a bit of time out to sit, enjoy and inhale the aroma.
Such pretty flowers
A very lovely way to spend a couple of hours.
Beautiful photos! I love the one where it looks like the bluebells are covering the entire woods. So pretty. We don't have them in my area, so I really enjoyed seeing your photos. Madeline's dress is very cute!
ReplyDeleteThe sight was absolutely stunning as was the scent. Thank you :-)
DeleteSo Lovely! And Madeline was perfectly attired for the occasion. Is this very far from where you live? It really is just an amazing sight.

Not too far about 1/2 hour on a good day.
DeleteHow beautiful! I have a few clumps of bluebells in my garden and they are just starting to flower. The sun is shining brightly here too, but the wind is frigid! Brrrr
ReplyDeleteIt has been so cold here today as well! It was 3 degrees when I went out this morning. Are you in the UK?
DeleteYes, in Lancashire
DeleteWhat a gorgeous image of the trees standing in a lake of bluebells!
ReplyDeletewarmly,
Beth
Stunning isn't it? I just love this place.
DeleteAmazing bluebells and Madeline looks very pleased with the wonderful view through the trees at the carpet of blue.
ReplyDeleteMadeline is like a chameleon in the purple field. Lovely dress and stunning countryside. Cold or not, it must have been a beautiful visit.
